Christmas dinner dessert!

Christmas Party for Adult

 今年も大人のクリスマスパーティーしましたー！
 例年と違って、今回は夜。
 写真はお料理と皆さんの手だけで失礼します。
 持ち寄っていただいたお料理はどれも美味しかった～
 Daleのブルーベリーを使った新しいスイーツもナイス！　
 お酒もすすみ、英語での会話も弾み、恒例のチョコレート
 交換も行い、楽しい楽しいパーティーとなりました。
　

 皆さん、ありがとうございました。
 来年も皆さんにとって良い年になりますように。

　　　　　　　 じゃれ合う２人。

Chrisween party

Thank you very much for coming to this year's Chrisween party!
We had so much fun playing games, making craft and having lunch together. Dale's Lasagna and Blueberry cream cheese pie was so good every year! Craft theme was Candle holder. All kids did a good job!

 Another Chrisween Party has come and gone. Everyone seemed to have lots of fun.

Many people (Oasis members) enjoy beef tongue. Even though the texture of the "meat" is a little muscular and looks strange before cooking. Tastes OK but.......I can't get this picture out of my mind while trying to eat such a thing!

updated November Lesson Schedule

It's interesting to compare contrasting thoughts and ideas whenever I travel somewhere. In the end perhaps we are all, mostly the same but a little different on how to do some things.

Travel day back to Japan

Left our apartment at around 12 noon for 

Berlin's Tegel airport. 

We could enjoy an uneventful but long trip home to Morioka arriving at 8:33 pm. See you tomorrow!

Day 12 Last full day in Berlin

Our last day in Berlin. Sunday afternoon at the zoo! Not a lot of options for things to do. 

Since most everywhere is closed on Sundays.

Beautiful weather for walking around outside.

 Last lunch enjoying German draft beer.

         

Returning to our apartment front entrance to end our time in Berlin. Tomorrow it's back to Morioka.

Day 11 Berlin

On our way to Kurfurstendamm shopping avenue for some shopping on the West side of Berlin.

This store sells only Christmas goods all year round! 

It was like a museum inside!

I had to wait forever to get this but it was worth the wait! Delicious bacon cheese burger.

Had lunch at the top of KaDaWe department store. Apple strudel with fresh cream for dessert!

Day 10 Day trip to Dresden

We left Berlin at 7 am by train and arrived in Dresden at around 9. 

We spent the day around the Dresden Castle area including Zwinger Palace. Most of the buildings had been rebuilt or restored to their original form. It was a little strange that they looked old but were not really?

Day 9 in Berlin

Slow day today. Out and about around the apartment area. Cooking, eating and drinking!
